I’ve been djing since 1997, (although I had my own radio show as a sophomore in high school-92/93). I’m currently the hip hop buyer for Gramophone Records, Chicago. We’re one of the only places in the Midwest that still sells predominantly wax! We also do mail order so holla at a playa if you want to special order something. I was recently named the first female Soul Selector, and I’m also “The First Lady “of STEREO INC. (www.stereoinc.net), as well as the first female hip hop buyer at Gramophone Records. There are still more hurdles and challenges left for us ladies, and I’m coming’ round to scoop them up. Advice??? Hmmmm…eat a sandwich, put some clothes on for goodness sake, & watch where you’re going while simultaneously talking on the cell phone and crossing the street. WOLVERINES!!!
