A bit about Fat 32
Denis Gurgutsa aka FAT 32 is a DJ , composer and producer, was born and has grown in the city of Novosibirsk, Russia. Since the childhood was interested in music, played on drums in Heavy metal group “Wanderers”, worked as DJ in local clubs. In 1999 began to make electronic music under pseudonym “Protection”. The basic musical directions: Trance, House, Techno. Now publishes the music on Super 6 Records (Germany), iRecords (Russia), LAY Records (Russia) and GROOVE SENSE RECORDS (Italy).

Who Influenced You?
First of all my parents. Since my childhood my surroundings were different styles of music beginning with classic music, children’s songs and ending with bandstand, heavy metal.

What do you like most about producing/Djing music?
Opportunity to realize your feelings and emotions through music.

Where do you think producing and electronic music will be in the Future?
I think in general nothing will change. But minimalism and sensory side will be in the lead.

If you could record with any artists living or dead who would it be?
It is difficult to say definitely. I think it would be those people with whom I will get the most understanding during teamwork, and who can add something that I cannot by some reason.

The last song you just listened to?
Cappella - U and Me

What gear do u prefer?
Now PC + M-Audio FW410…. As the need arises I reduce to different studios.

If you could change one thing about Djing/Producing what would it be?
I would bring show business in Russia up to standards of Europe and USA.

If you could change one thing about the WORLD what would it be?
I would make it more balanced.

If someone is interested in starting to produce their own music what peace of advice would you offer?
Listen to music in different styles. Especially jazz.
