DJ Terry Smith premiered his beats on Bastille day 1989. He has had residencies in numerous notable French clubs such as the Poisson Rouge (Colmar), the Caesar Palace (Mulhouse), the Mirage (Haguenau)…
In 1997 Terry began exporting his style on the avant-garde seeking nation of Germany. He obtained a residency at the Diamnt Bleu (Kehl, Germany).

His international dimension took off in 2007 in the United States with guest spots in several clubs of the US capitale.
A first remarked spin at Tabaq lounge opened him the doors of LIMA, THE PARK AT 14th, INDE BLEU, DC’s current places to be.
In 2006, Terry signed his first production : ATM “Sax Machine” Feat Mad Sax (POOL E MUSIC) with Alex Nevil & Professor Ewing.
During his 15 years carrier, Terry spinned along side with world famous DJ’s such as Kenny Carpenter (Studio 54 NYC), Antoine Clamaran, David Vendetta…
Terry also played for corporate parties for Adidas Europe, Air France…

1)Who Influenced You ?
Martin Solveig, Daft Punk, Jamie Lewis, Antoine Clamaran, Roland Clarke, Franckie Knuckles, Dennis Ferrer, Copyright, Yass etc…

2)What do you like most about producing/Djing music ?
Producing music is a passion, a challenge, everything must be perfect, the crowd have to dance on our music (songs co-produced with Alex Nevil & Professor Ewing)

3)Where do you think producing and electronica , house music will be in the Future ?
With the new technologies we have more & more sounds. In the 90’s DAFT PUNK are one of them who gave a new direction to electronica, they opened new doors. And I think house & electronica has a great future.

4)If you could record with any artists living or dead who would it be ?
The list would be long… Andrea Love, Barbara Tucker, Barry White, Elvis Presley, The Pet shop Boys, Madonna, Fleetwood Mac, Barclay James Harvest, Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, Leee John etc…

5)The last song you just listened to ?
ROBBIE WILLIAMS “lovelight” (soulwax ravelight dub)

6)If you also Dj Where have you spun ?
In a lot of clubs in Europe, several clubs in the USA (New York, Washington DC, Miami, Las Vegas)

7)Best party ?
On bastille day july 14th 1999… I played the fireworks in France for 10,000 people.

8)What is HOTTEST club you HAVE ever BEEN ?
PACHA in Ibiza

9)what gear do u prefer ?
ADIDAS

10)What moves you as an artist ?
The passion of music and people.

11)If you could change one thing about Djing/Producing what would it be ?
Nowadays a lot of people want the music in the clubs they listen to on the radio… I would change that.
We have the chance to have internet and more people should listen to what kind of music is played in the other countries.

12)If you could change one thing about the WORLD what would it be ?
Stopping every war, racism, pollution. And I would like everybody to have enough money to have a good life, education, and stop the diseases.

13)If someone is interested in starting to produce their own music what peace of advice would you offer ?
To do the music they want, to trust in what they are doing, to believe in.

14)What Does Music Do for YOU ?
Music offers me the chance to travel, to see our fabulous world, the music feeds me. Music is my first love.
