Club 84
Hans Christian Rothmann Bonde representing Aarhus/Paris, France,Denmark

Peep His myspace go now
A little background
No, club84 is not from Paris, he’s not even French.
But Hans Christian Rothmann Bonde, that’s his real name, is a real addict of french touch that’s for sure.
And Italo disco, yes! Enough for the influences. He started to make music a few years ago, progressively built his studio, analogue baby,
and has released several tracks. His first release,”Can’t get enough”(Lustyle) received 5 dancing men in the DMC
update magazine and is set to rerelease on MOUSSA CLARKE’s “Oven Ready” label later this year. It’s playlisted by DAVE DRESDEN and ABOVE AND BEYOND,
and gets massive support from the electronic scene with djs such as JOEY, STEVE GRAHAM, NATHAN C, TONSPUR (”hard to find great words for this excellent sound”)
JL (”Awesome track, killer beats”) MAN CALLED JACK (”Quality electronic music, keep it up!”). Club84 also released an EP on Work it Baby, under the name of
Jaunt and in collaboration with KRIS MENACE. The “Traveller EP ” also received 5 out of 5 dancing men in the DMC update magazine. His last release “Sophie”
(out on Lavish Nightlife) is play listed at the danish P3 Klub and has support from Wize, The Out runners and LIFELIKE, who listed it in his top 10 tracks for the summer.
“Can’t get enough”, “Sophie”, “Dirty cop”, each track is an opportunity to come up with new ideas and refresh the old sounds he likes so much to follow and stick
to the dance floors where he likes to perform live. But there’s much more to come, he’s working on many remixes and new tracks that will be out very soon.

-Daft Punk, Alan Braxe, Dj Sneak, Giorgio Moroder, Kris Menace ect
What do you like most about producing/Djing music ?
-I love the fact that i can produce exactly what i really wanna hear. For playing live its more the kick you get from being on stage. I think its propably the same for most dj’s.
Where do you think producing and electronica , house music will be in the Future ?
-I think already now its so easy to produce electronic music, everyone with a computer and a sequencer can do it. The competition will be much harder in the future and its going to be much more difficult to separate the good stuff from the bad stuff with so much material out there.

- Alan Braxe

What is HOTTEST club you HAVE ever BEEN ?
- phu, i gotta say “the zouk - Singapore 2001″
what gear do u prefer ?
Analouge. Most people use vst synths and fx these days i wanna keep a more organic sound and try to keep the digital units to a minimum. My favorite synth is the juno-106.
What moves you as an artist ?
curiosity
If you could change one thing about Djing/Producing what would it be ?
-could be great if tracks where still out only on vinyl and people still djed only with vinyl.
If you could change one thing about the WORLD what would it be ?
-ha ha ha. I would make plane tickets to paris half price–
If someone is interested in starting to produce their own music what peace of advice would you offer ?
-Get ableton, its easy to use and it can take you all the way-
What Does Music Do for YOU ?
-It gives me energy and makes my life interesting. Its a great exploration to me. Im constantly discovering new sounds and rhythms, and i don’t think i could live without it-
