A dj since 1987, was brought up thru the golden age of Hip Hop. Came from a musical family; mother a singer, grandfather a drummer,played musical instruments thru junior high school… As a performer has Dj’ed parties all over New England, Boston, Montreal, Toronto, New York City, Philidelphia, Miami, Amsterdam, Phoenix AZ, Detroit. In the past he has played parties with Master Kev (Defected/NYC), Lars Behrenroth (XM Radio LA), Andy Ward (Defected UK), Glen Underground (Chicago), Mike “Agent X” Clark (Detroit), Rudy C (LA), Jesse Outlaw (LA), Hali Toronto), Uzi (Montreal), Ray Bones (Detroit), Joe Dipadova (Phoenix, AZ), Lola & E-MAN (NYC), Dj Bruno (Boston), Louis Benedetti (NJ), Joey Mazza (NJ), MSG (NYC), Joeski & Onionz (NYC), Alix Alvarez (NYC), Santos (Phoenix), Michelle Weeks (NJ), KT Brooks (NJ), Dawn Tallman (NJ), Unified Spirits (NJ) to name a few. Hosts a monthly party in Boston w/partner DJ Cruzz called Seed in the city! along with his current syndicated Internet radio show: The Saturday Afternoon Jam Session via www.Cyberjamz.com & www.ssradiouk.com

Started Producing music in 1998, first release in 2001 under groovekontrol name. To date has releases and remixes under the names subwaysoul, seed allstarz, bradford james on labels, Grooveland Music, Shack Music, Trippin Records UK, Utopia Boston Recordings, Dazed Records, Poundhouse and his own imprints Seed Recordings and Subwaysoul Music.

Co-founder of Seed Recordings with partners Ove Salcedo aka Oveous Maximus & Manue Rivera aka Deknology. To date has releases & remixes featuring Quentin Harris, Boddhi Satva, Alton Miller, Seed Allstarz, Jesse Outlaw, Dave Lalla, & Trinidadiandeep

Who Influenced You ?
So many people have influenced me to do what I do but the first person would have to be Melle Mel from the Furious Five, Im a old school HIP HOP head to the fullest.

What do you like most about djing ?
Djing is all about controlling energy flow and movement thru sound, you get the place moving and that euphoric feeling you get stops time. Its that moment and feeling that I like most about djing.

Where do you think djing will be in the Future ?
Well we know computers have already brought the music and djing to other levels, so I could only imagine that whatever technology comes out in the future, music and djing will find its place within it.

If you could mix any party which would it be ?
Man this is a tough one, I think I still would have to say Shelter, NYC at 6am would be the party I would like to play.

The last song you just listened to ?
JIll Scott - He Loves Me (Jay-J Hernandez Remix) it was on a mix cd in my car

Where have you spun ?
Ive been blessed to play many places throughout the USA & Canada, the spots that have been the most memorable are:Underground Boston WMC 07 Party (Miami), FTWK WMC 06 (Miami), Soulmecca (Montreal), ONE (Phoenix), Utopia (Boston), Seed In The City (Boston), Club Shelter rooftop (NYC), NASA (Toronto), Seymore Likely Lounge (Amsterdam),Sea of Soul (NYC)….

Best party ?
The Best party has to be Soulmecca in Montreal, the people the atmosphere, the hosts all in all are top notch!

What is HOTTEST club you HAVE ever BEEN ?
its a cross between Stereo (Montreal) & Love (NYC) for me its all about the sound systems and both spots have the best sound.

what gear do u prefer ?
Urie 1620 Mixer, 2 cdj 1000’s, dope real crossover, 2 1200’s and im good to go!

What gear did you start on ?
Well Technically I started scratching on my moms 1 turntable with diamond needle, and yes i did ruin my records. When I officially started djing out of my bedroom it was belt driven technics with the rotary pitch. If you can mix on those suckas you can mix on anything.
